Independent Report – Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) and Deputy Chairman of the Golkar Party. Adies Kadir, has expressed his appreciation for President Prabowo Subianto’s recent visit to India and Malaysia. He believes that the visit has brought positive impacts for Indonesia, particularly in terms of technological cooperation. And Also downstream industry development with India, as well as strengthening diplomatic relations with Malaysia.
“President Prabowo’s visit to India and Malaysia is a strategic step in enhancing bilateral cooperation. With India, we can take advantage of their strengths in technology and downstream processing to drive industrial progress in Indonesia.” Said Adies Kadir on Wednesday (January 28).
Adies emphasized the importance of collaboration with India in technology and downstream industry. He pointed out that Indonesia can learn valuable lessons from India. Which has successfully developed a technology-based industry and added value to its natural resources through downstream processing.

“India has extensive experience in technology and downstream processing, which aligns with Indonesia’s vision to not only export raw materials but also increase their added value domestically. This cooperation should be further encouraged to maximize its benefits for the nation,” he added.
During his visit to Malaysia, President Prabowo received a great honor when the 17th Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Ibrahim. Directly conferred upon him the prestigious Darjah Kerabat Johor Yang Amat Dihormati First Class title at the Malaysian National Palace.
Adies Kadir regarded this honor as a form of recognition and respect for President Prabowo’s role in strengthening the relationship between the two countries.
“This award is not merely symbolic but also reflects Malaysia’s high regard for President Prabowo. It shows that Indonesia-Malaysia relations are becoming even close. Not only in political and economic aspects but also in cultural and fraternal ties,” said Adies.
The meeting with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and the conferment of the honorary title further demonstrated the close ties between the two neighboring nations. Adies hopes that the authorities will promptly follow up on the outcomes of this visit with concrete implementations across various sectors.
“President Prabowo’s diplomacy is truly commendable. I hope that the authorities will quickly realize the established collaborations so the Indonesian people can feel their benefits,” he concluded.
