Papua Must Achieve Greater Prosperity

Independent Report – Steve Mara, the Chairman of the Melanesian Youth Diplomacy Forum, urges all Papuans, especially the younger generation, to support the Asta Cita program introduced by President Prabowo Subianto. According to him, this program plays a crucial role in achieving prosperity and peace in Papua.

During a statement in Jayapura, Papua, on Thursday (March 20, 2025), Steve emphasized that young people must take an active role in supporting central government policies aimed at improving people’s welfare. He believes that Asta Cita serves as a concrete step toward bringing positive changes in various aspects of life in Papua.

He stressed that youth involvement is necessary to ensure that Papua develops and progresses. With this program, Papua’s future can become brighter and align with the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045.

Steve believes that Indonesia is currently on a positive growth trajectory. For this reason, he encourages all segments of society to unite in supporting government programs designed to bring the nation toward a better future.
